Term Life Insurance: Why It’s the Most Preferred Choice

Life insurance can be of two types-whole life insurance and term life insurance. As the name suggests, whole life insurance covers the whole life, as long as the policy is held and is beneficial only on the demise of the policy holder. Obviously, the benefits of whole life policy depend upon the value of the policy at the time of death of the policy holder. A cash value on the tax defer basis is also accumulated. The dividends are paid throughout the life of the policy.

On the other hand, term life insurance, is evidently purchased for a certain period or term. If the death occurs within that period, an agreed upon amount to the beneficiaries is paid. The payment is not paid if the premiums are not paid or if the death occurs after the expiration of the term. Also, term life insurance has no cash value.

The premiums for term life insurance are low in the beginning of the policy and increase over time. It is not feasible to borrow against the cash value since cash value does not exist in term life insurance, unlike in whole term life insurance. The coverage for a term life insurance varies from five to thirty years and the longer the term, the more expensive the policy will be.

Term life insurance quotes can be obtained from multiple agents and there are lead generating websites that help in getting the quotes. Term life insurance quotes can be obtained instantaneously through websites from companies that vie with each other and alleviate the need to approach the agents for different quotes. Monthly premiums that suit the budget can be obtained for a term life insurance policy and it offers the feasibility of switching over to whole life insurance policy after a period of time.

Universal life insurance that covers everything can also be accomplished. Some of the companies may issue a policy without any medical examination depending upon the answers given to questions relating to the age of the policy holder, occupation and health and evidently, younger age gets a better quote.

Normally, term life insurance is cheaper than whole life insurance and more often than not, the difference between the two values in permanent life insurance and term life insurance is utilized to invest and make a profit. Hence, term life insurance is considered to be profitable and cheaper.

Term life insurance can be bought in increments of ten year term and twenty year term and the premium paid goes directly towards paying for insurance and nothing else and is rightly known as pure life insurance. The objective of term life insurance is to reduce financial risk for a fixed period and is a temporary life insurance.

The Best Whole Life Insurance

Whole life insurance may be a good choice if you have extended future goals. Whole life generally offers level premiums and the accumulation of cash values. The guaranteed cash values may also provide you with money in the future to help with temporary needs.

Do you need life insurance coverage?

You may consider purchasing life insurance:

* If you become a parent.
* If your family does not have a lot of money saved.
* If you are a stay-at-home parent.
* To cover the mortgage or other large shared financial commitments.

The different types of whole life insurance policies you may choose from.

To help you choose the best whole life insurance, you may first need to know more about the different types of whole life policies you can choose from.

Level Premium Whole Life Insurance:

This whole life policy features premium payments that are:

* level.
* are required to be paid as long as the insured is alive.

In the early years the premium is more than enough to pay the current cost of insurance security. The surplus makes up the insufficiency of premiums in later years when the annual premium is not sufficient to pay the yearly cost of insurance. These extra premiums are held and invested by the insurer. This creates the cash value of the policy.

Indeterminate Premium Whole Life Insurance:

This type of whole life policy is similar to an ordinary whole life policy save for it providing adjustable premiums. The company will charge a premium based on its current estimate of expenditure, investment income and mortality. The company will adjust the premium in view of these estimates changing in later years. It will never be adjusted above the maximum guaranteed premium declared in the policy contract.

Single Premium Whole Life Insurance:

Single premium whole life is a limited payment whole life insurance policy with one quite large premium payment payable at issue. The policy is fully paid up and no further premiums are necessary. Owing to the single premium payment the policy will have an immediate cash and loan value. This could be considerable depending on the sum of the single premium payment.

Limited Payment Whole Life Insurance:

This whole life policy gives you life insurance protection but involves only a limited number of premium payments. The premium payments will be higher than with an ordinary whole life policy since the premiums are paid over a shorter timespan. Limited payment plans can provide for the payment of premiums for a set number of years such as 20 payment whole life insurance.

Participating Whole Life Insurance:

This whole life policy pays dividends corresponding to:

* the positive experience of the company.
* results from surplus investment earnings.
* favorable mortality.

The dividends may be:

* paid in cash.
* used to decrease your premium expenses.
* left to build up at a particular rate of interest.
* used to buy paid-up supplementary insurance.

Non-Participating Whole Life Insurance:

A non-participating whole life policy has a level premium and a fixed insured amount during your entire life. However, this policy does not pay out any dividends.

You may contact your insurance broker or a life insurance company for more information about the best whole life insurance for your personal life insurance needs.

Transform Your Body to Transform Your Life

One of the most amazing things about making a true commitment to transforming your weak, scrawny framed body into the strong, ripped, muscular version of your ideal self is the impact that this journey will have on your entire life. For the better I might add. Nothing we do, say, or think in this world acts in isolation from the rest of our life situation. Everything is connected and intertwined and has a ripple effect that moves outward into other areas of our life and even further beyond the boundaries of our own lives.

For example if you begin by making simple changes to your diet in an effort to eat healthier, more nutritious and muscle-building foods, this change will also effect: the way you feel (i.e. your emotional state), your daily energy levels (i.e. your vitality), your interaction with others (i.e. your relationships), your ability to work, focus, and get things done (i.e. your career) and so on.

Beyond that, people will take notice and see the improvement that this effect is having on your life, which could lead them to make more conscious dietary decisions themselves. In other words, you've become a positive example to others merely by making the decision to transform your body, and this decision is having an impact not only on your own life but in the lives of others.

When you make the commitment to transform your body, you are, in effect, making the decision to radically transform every aspect of your life.

The WHY is MORE Important than the HOW

Now I realize that the reason most people want to transform their body is not for such a noble cause, but rather to look good naked and to attract the opposite sex... or as the case may be, the same sex (I'll leave that choice up to you.)

There's nothing wrong with wanting to look good naked, I mean when you think about it who doesn't want to look good naked? Furthermore, who doesn't want to attract the attention of the women or men we find appealing? Most of us do.

But is "looking good naked" or "attracting hotties" a strong enough, and compelling enough reason to drag your butt to the gym and put yourself through intense, grueling workouts day in and day out?

Is it a strong enough reason to totally change your dietary habits and eat massive quantities of food spread out over 5-7 meals a day, every 3-4 hours?

Is it a compelling enough reason to make sacrifices, go to bed early, give up bad habits, and do all the things that are required to make a transformation of this magnitude?

Is it a strong enough reason to pick yourself up after you've failed or injured yourself once, twice, or more times, to revaluate your plan and give it another go?

Maybe it will be and maybe it won't be. To some it can be very motivating. To be honest, that's one of the reasons I started working out and it's still one of the reasons I work out. It's a perfectly valid reason and it does have some motivational value to it, but it is not by any means my only reason. And if you're to succeed at this, it shouldn't be your only reason either. You need a reason so big and powerful that it will propel you towards success.

The number one secret to transform your body and thus your life is to have a burning desire to do so and in order to fuel this burning desire you have to have a strong enough reason, or list of reasons, as to why you are putting forth the effort to make this transformation. So ya best to start writing!

Facing the Reality of Your Mission

As a hardgainer you have your work cut out for you. The last thing I'm going to tell you is that transforming your body or your life is as easy as 1-2-3, because it's not. It takes commitment, dedication, persistence, discipline, purpose, passion, and confidence.

Now don't worry if you are lacking any of these character values, because that's one of the great benefits of weight training. As you: (1.) Develop your strength through consistent training, (2.) make the necessary dietary changes required to nourish your body and build muscle, (3.) give up bad habits and delay gratification to get the body and life you TRULY desire... you are building and forging these values and furthermore, this whole transformation process acts as the catalyst for the emergence of such values naturally.

This is what I mean when I say that transforming your body will transform your life. It has a spill over effect into all other aspects of your being. As you are disciplining your body and your mind through intense physical training, you are forging a stronger character like a blacksmith uses fire to forge the resilient Katana sword of the Samurai.

Thus, like a Samurai, you must be willing to face the harsh reality of your mission and your goals in life. You must be willing to face the truth about what your journey will demand of you and you must ask yourself these tough questions:

-"Why do I want to transform my body and my life?"
-"What is it going to take for me to transform my body?"
-"What are the steps I must take to realize this goal?"
-"Am I willing to fully commit myself to achieving this goal?"
-"Am I willing to read, study, and learn what it takes and then to apply what I learn?"
-"How should I be training for my body type?"
-"Where can I make improvements in my diet?"
-"What must I give up in order to get what I want? What must I sacrifice?"
-"Do I truly believe that I can make this transformation my reality?"
-"How can I guarantee the success of this mission?"

Remember, you've got to have forceful, convincing, and undeniable reasons, and a purpose for realizing this goal. You must put in the time to develop this "Why" and document it to paper. You must read it every day or even twice a day to remind yourself why you are doing all of this. This "Why" comes by asking your self these tough questions, by coming up with the answers, and doing other introspective soul searching to create and develop a burning desire and commitment to transforming your body.

Don't fool yourself into thinking this is easy and that you'll add 50 pounds of muscle in a month or two or even six months without even trying. Thousands of people sign up for new gym memberships every day (people with better muscle-building genetics than you), and within less than four weeks they've already thrown in the towel, never to step foot in that gym again. Don't be like them, set your self up to be successful.

I'm not trying to discourage you, I want you to succeed and to believe in yourself and to realize that you can and will transform your life, and you'll do it by first transforming your body, one step at a time. My brother and I, as well as, Vince Delmonte, Sean Nalewanyj, and Jason Ferruggia are all here to help you and make sure you have the tools you need to complete your mission, but it is YOU who will inevitably bring about the change you seek by taking focused, disciplined action.

We just want you to realize that this requires a conscious pursuit of both physical, mental, and even spiritual growth. You will be pushed and challenged every day. You will want to give in, give up, and run out on this goal before you have achieved it, but only the true warriors will be able to find the strength and courage within themselves to persevere and follow this path to where it leads... to the strong, confident, muscular being that lies dormant within each and every one of us.

Cultivating the Enlightened Warrior Mindset

I want you to become a true warrior, not someone who is out fighting wars and killing people, but an Enlightened Warrior; someone who stands up for what they believe in and gives their life for the greater cause. I want you to become a man or a woman who has a higher purpose and a mission for their life and never settles for mediocrity or complacency. You may not know what your purpose is right now, but have the confidence and courage and the heart to believe that you have one. Know that at any moment your mission will be revealed to you.

Yet keep in mind that our purpose is not something we discover in life, but rather it is something we create for ourselves.

The Enlightened Warrior accepts full responsibility for the success or failure of his or her life and makes personal growth and development a conscious part of their everyday experience.

Weight training, cardio, nutrition, meditation, etc. are all a part your growth experience and development into a highly conscious being. And that's what it means to be human: to be fully conscious, to continually evolve in our consciousness, to seek the truth and purpose behind our existence, and to fight for what we believe is true. And when I say fight, I mean to be the example of.

The Enlightened Warrior does NOT need, nor want the approval of other men or women. The only approval she needs is her own self approval. The Enlightened Warrior is strong, wise, grateful, purposeful, radiant, confident, powerful, compassionate, and a leader to the men and women in his or her life. He leads by his example and by how he carries himself in this world. He lets his actions speak for themselves.

"Okay, well what does this have to do with transforming my body and life...?"

It has everything to do with it!

Who you are, how you think, how you speak, how you act, how you react, where you go, what you do, what you don't do.... All of these things determine the outcome of your life. Your thoughts literally create your reality... you may have heard of the law of attraction (and we'll get more into this in later article posts), which says: people's thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they're aware of it or not.

Now I know there's a lot of people out there who think this is a new age, Hocus Pocus, pie-in-the-sky theory... but it's not. It's actually a very radical and scientific universal law, if you will, that has been known in metaphysical studies for decades, and is just now being proven by quantum physicists.

Like I said, we'll get into all of the nuances and details of this law in the near future, but for right now I just want you to take some time to think about this and wrap your mind around this powerful concept.

Your Thoughts and Beliefs Create Your Reality

In other words, that which you think about comes about, that which you believe to be true (or not true) is reality for you. Now, just because you think of an apple, does not mean an apple will magically appear in the palm of your hand, although that would be a pretty cool trick!

No, this isn't a fairy tale. However, the consistent thought (burning desire) for an apple may lead you to your fridge, to opening the fruit drawer, to picking up a delicious apple and then enjoying it. Or if you're getting really good at mastering the law of attraction, someone else may happen to come into your presence (i.e. you attracted them) and then they offer you an apple. And that's almost as cool as it manifesting it in the palm of your hand.

Of course this is an oversimplification, but you can begin to see the possibilities.

Instead of an apple, maybe you have a burning desire to create a muscular body. Now just because you have the thought of envisioning your new muscular body, the universe will not instantaneously transform your skinny @ss into the form of the Greek God of Physical Perfection.

Again, this is not fantasy land. Nevertheless, the focused thought and burning desire for that muscular body might lead you to turn on your computer, type something in a search engine and land on a website (much like this one) that gives you the secrets and principles you need to transform the thought of a beautiful body into your reality of a beautiful body. And you thought you just accidentally stumbled upon this article!

Although that's just the beginning... by focusing on the thought and your desire to transform your body, you may decide to join a gym. Already you are attracting information, events, and people into your life that can help take your idea (thought) and manifest it into physical form (a muscular body.) Maybe at the new gym you joined you meet a friend or trainer who is able to explain some fundamental concepts to you, or perhaps become your training partner. According to the law of attraction, this chance meeting wasn't just a mere coincidence, you've actually attracted this individual into your life by resonating on the same vibrational frequency (energy level) as this individual.

As you continue to act and fuel your burning desire by giving it attention and intention even more people, things, and events will begin to be drawn to you that will help you to arrive at your desired outcome (given the fact that you do not push them away by thinking contradicting thoughts, harboring negative thoughts or subconscious feelings of self-doubt, etc.)

Surely, there's a lot more to the law of attraction than this, but by learning about and mastering the principles of this universal law, in time you'll be able to create your body and your life in any way you can imagine... but of course only within the confines of your beliefs.

So, Do You Truly Believe that YOU can Transform Your Body and Your Life?

Well, that is a question you will have to answer for yourself. The only way you'll be able to make such a huge transformation is if you have the deep belief and knowing that IT IS possible for you. Otherwise, you'll click away... never to return to this site again.

Unfortunately, for many of you that is exactly what will happen. Realize however that this is your choice. You can choose to be successful. Success is a choice you will have to make daily. You can either choose to keep learning or to click away. At this moment in time, that is your most important choice.

Just look at what you've learned already from reading this article;

So far, you've learned that by transforming your body, you will begin an amazing journey that will not only make you stronger, healthier, and more muscular, but will also have lasting implications on your entire life.

You've learned that you'll need a strong and powerful list of reasons as to why you will complete this transformation.

You've learned that in order to be successful you will have to face the ultimate reality of the mission that lies before you and make a firm commitment to completing your journey.

You've learned that transforming your body and life is not the easiest path and that to follow this path where it leads you will have to cultivate the mindset of an Enlightened Warrior, who will never give up in the face of adversity.

Finally, you learned that your thoughts and beliefs drive the creation of your reality and experience of life. This is the basic premise behind the law of attraction, a law that when mastered will give you the power to recreate your life and your body into the dream version that currently exists only in your mind.

You still have lots of work ahead of you, but the training has begun... grasshopper!

Believe in your self, in your mission, and in your ability to transform your body and your life. There are many lessons I have to share with you and that I believe will only make you stronger in body, in mind, and in spirit. However, I am not sure that you are ready. In fact, only you can know for sure. When you are ready... I'll be here.

10 Important Points to Know About Life Insurance

We all know the significance of life insurance. In today's era, we want to be sure that when we die our loved ones are taken care of. But before you get exhausted and buy a policy, do some research. In this way, you will be sure to obtain the best life insurance coverage at competitive rate. Here are 10 important points you need to know about life insurance:

1. Compare the prices

2. Never buy more coverage than you need

3. The good health, the better the rates

4. Sooner is better

5. Review your coverage periodically

6. Obtain the life insurance for at least the duration necessary to cover your dependents

7. You may be paying more for monthly premium

8. Don't rely on the life insurance provided by your employer

9. Tell the whole truth

10. Higher amounts of insurance is sometimes cheaper

Compare the prices

When it comes to buying life insurance, it has never been easier. You have to shop around because premiums can vary considerably. But now days you can get tons of quotes online, thanks to the Internet. Try one of the many insurance websites i.e. http://www.ratedetective.com.au which can provide you instant quotes. But ensure yourself that the website you shop from will consider your medical history, because it can affect your premiums.

Never buy more coverage than you need

The key to buying life insurance is to have just enough insurance to meet your needs. If you have more life insurance coverage than you need, you will have to pay higher premiums needlessly. In contrast, it is essential not to have too little insurance as it may result in that you are being underinsured.

Good health, the better the rates

It is true that people in good health obtain better rates on life insurance. You will be paying a higher rate for anything that shortens your life expectancy (for example, if you smoke, take the medical drugs regularly, are over weight).

Sooner is better

If you have been delaying buying life insurance since you do not want to pay the premiums, you may be unfair to yourself in the long term. It is better to buy life insurance earlier rather than later. The younger you are to buy life insurance, the lower your premiums will be.

Review your coverage periodically

Any change in your life (e.g., child birth, unexpected accident) announces the need for a review of your total financial plan. And when it comes to the life insurance, you want to be sure that your major investment in life insurance will not leave you underinsured or overinsured.

Obtain the life insurance for at least the duration necessary to cover your dependents

If you are expecting that your children to be out and all alone at the age of 18, then you can consider your policy to cover them during this time. There are also other reasons than this for us to keep such longer-term life insurance policies, such as our need for liquidity and cash availability.

You may be paying more for monthly premium

If you are paying your premium in monthly installments, you may not realize that you may be paying more for your life insurance. Many insurance companies charge the additional fees if you carry out monthly premium payments instead of paying it annually.

Don't rely on the life insurance provided by your employer

Many employers offer to their employees a certain kind of group life insurance. But this kind of insurance is not usually enough to meet in right proportion of your life insurance needs. Moreover, the group life insurance policies are not portable, meaning that if you leave your work, you cannot take your life insurance with you. So, don't rely solely on the life insurance provided by your employer.

Tell the whole truth

If you are thinking about lying and trying to provide false information on your insurance application, think twice. If you provide false information about a health related condition or your lifestyle to your insurance company and if they discover that you lied to them, they may be able to terminate your coverage. Therefore, always tell the whole truth to your life insurance company.

Higher amounts of insurance is sometimes cheaper

Life insurance costs usually less per thousand dollars once you enter into higher amounts of insurance. If coverage amount is big, you can be able to pay a lower premium while escalating your insurance.

The Importance of Life Insurance Policies

Whenever you think of opting for Life Insurance Policies, the general image or idea that flashes on your mind is that of a salesman trying to entice to purchase a policy under his company name. Now if you are a completely new customer and have no idea as to what kind of deal suits your need, you end up making the wrong policy. Life insurance is also used to pay death taxes and estate settlement costs, to shift wealth from one generation to another or to benefit selected charities.. Most people go in for a life insurance policy to ensure that upon his/her death, the beneficiary is financially secured. Life insurance policies are typically divided into two major types: term insurance and permanent insurance. From these two basic policies, the insurance industry has developed a number of products using the same essential principals. People on a general basis would consider a life insurance policy to have no time limits, which always isn't the case. Lets discuss the two types of life insurance policies in detail.

Term Life Insurance: A term life insurance policy pays the beneficiary or the nominee the due amount only if the insured individual expires during the time/ tenure of the policy. No benefits are paid if the insured exists beyond the term of the policy and there is no investment or cash value feature inherent in this type of policy. For this reason, term insurance policies will carry the lowest premiums in the earlier years of the policy. However, as an individual gets older, term insurance gets more expensive. A major problem with term insurance is that with the expiry of the insurance policy, the insured would need to replace or renew the policy at a higher premium.

Permanent Life Insurance: A permanent life insurance policy, often referred to as whole life insurance, is intended to provide protection throughout the life of the insured. It is an alternative to term life insurance and the premium is a bit costlier too. This is done to maintain the premium level while the policy is in place. Moreover as the insured keeps getting older the mortality rates increases. A couple of permanent life insurance policies are the universal life insurance policy and variable life insurance policy. A universal life insurance policy provides flexibility for the insured by allowing the individual to select the premium they would like to pay. Variable life insurance is a policy in which the insured has the ability to direct the investments of the cash surrender value to achieve potentially higher returns than could otherwise be realized. If the investments perform well, the death benefit will increase.

Determining your need prior to choosing a policy is important. Insurance is basically done when you have young members in your family, there is one bread earner and insufficient savings to meet the demands of the survivors in case of a disaster. The type and amount of insurance which is being considered must also be predicated on the affordability of the premiums. A policy which is too expensive to carry may result in an early termination. The insured would then need to reapply, usually at higher costs, and potentially subject him or herself to a physical examination to determine overall health.

Going by the current premium values in the market the top 5 insurance companies would be ranked as

1) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance

2) Birla Sun Life Insurance

3) HDFC Standard Life Insurance

4) Life Insurance Corporate of India

5) Bharti-Axa Life India.

Life insurance is a very complex product and, yet, is essential for many individuals in order to protect their loved ones or meet the other needs for which it is being purchased.

Musings From the Depth (i): What is it About This Life?

Since I became old enough to ponder, I have wondered variously about life. About what exactly the essence of life is? I have wondered about life and its complexities; life and its simplicities.  About pre-life, life and after-life. Life with the future coming a day at a time and receding in like manner, so it becomes what is known as the past.  Life and the men who live it, and those who live in it. To some it is kind, and to others, very cruel. It could be fair and easy, and also mean and hard almost simultaneously. It could be a long tortuous journey yet for some, a rollercoaster. It could start well and end on a very low note, yet it could have been the other way. At the same time it could start well, end well or start sour and end sadly. Sometimes I am tempted to be convinced that life is all vanity, and the hereafter; whatever it may mean. Yet some other time I could not but acknowledge the presence and potency of a higher power. Yet again, situations there are when I get so confused I just leave the matter be. But what is it about this life?

Some people pray and get what they want almost at the instant; others fast, keep watch and pray, yet nothing happens. There are times I come upon blessings I neither dreamt of nor prayed for, and I thank the heavens for its showers. Some other time, I am constrained to ask God why I am being burdened with a load that should not have been mine to carry. I have questioned God why life had been so cruel to me.  I have also had cause to rejoice almost at the same time in the knowledge that my situation was far better than for some of my fellow travelers. I look at some people and wonder where they are running to, and why they keep going from height to height; while some other I query if they ever came across the word "ambition" or "aspiration". I have been moved to believe that my growth and advancement in life was stunted but when I think it over, I give all thanks for the stride and distance achieved so far.  I look at my friends and wonder why a few are ahead of the larger rest who, most atime are far behind. Is this what life is all about?

A new born baby is like a brand new computer system. Complete with all the units and necessary accessories. A device, which if not well configured will end up being just an array of worthless boxes and machines.  I get configured at birth, and in the course of time reconfigured, upgraded and even updated; and when I begin to grow near a state of perfection,  then I die. I have seen it happen so many times such that it has become a part of the ordinariness of my every day. At death I go back to nothingness. I become a part of space, a piece of history, faded memory or just dead and forgotten. Completely forgotten. Or did I hear someone say "face judgement?" We are always taught to be good, but bad things happen to good people; many atime, the bad fellows get away with their crimes convinced they are smart. But how do I explain it when bad things happen to little children? Could it be pay back for sins from a previous life? That is if there is anything like that? And as if on cue, we are told it is part of the temptations of life. I have always sought to know what kind of temptation this could be, and more importantly for what end we are being tempted.  Why? That everyone will reap what he sows and will ultimately be judged. This brings me to ask if we are really sure there is a world out there whereat judgment shall be delivered on everyone, or is it that we have swallowed what we were told, which had also been told to those before us. It may just be all void outside there! Then a whisper starts to tell about faith; said to mean a belief in what you do not see. Someone once said life is worth living if only you discover its essence. So tell me, what is this essence of life?

Life is replete with contradictions. The doctor tells me laughter is good but the religionist warns to flee from every appearance of laughter, and pitch tent with sorrow.  For only so will I ever gain the character requisite to qualify for paradise. Life and its contradictions: some are rich, others poor, I am black, you white, Maria is beautiful but Joan is ugly. Kunle died before his first birthday but Sani will live to see his great grandchildren. Esther got married at twenty seven and the couple have lived happily ever after but Eliz may never ever get married. Some land juicy employments right after national service, some others do not and may never. These and much more dot the landscape of this contraption called life. Most men are poor for no fault of theirs; the rich ones, for none of their special abilities. Same for the ugly and beautiful, and for all other of the contradictions of life. Unfortunately, all these man exploits for selfish reasons, yet I am prayed to love my brother as myself. My question is if he would love me back as such. I cannot read his mind so how do I know? Remember the heart of man is said to be perpetually evil. Interestingly for all the evils and transgressions of man, God sits back and watches. Waiting for the day of judgement I am taught. My puerile mind therefore asks questions, gets answers I can not put my fingers on and I continue to wonder on the essence of this life, and if there is a God at all somewhere.  So what is this thing called life?

The list goes on and on. But does that answer the question?

Talking about faith, and God. Religions hit you in the face wherever you may go, with each claiming to be the super highway to the gates of paradise. Yet when I see what crimes a lot wreck in the name of faith in God, the loving, forgiving, gracious and living Master, I wonder. For this, some souls have given up on faith and God while some put theirs in some living personae. Yet, others bluntly tell me they are dedicated to the devil. How complex this life could be!. But on a serious note, what happens after I leave this contraption? Or will the essence of life been over by then?

Man I am told was made for the sole reason of  service to God. I am also told that it is simply for the purposes of multiplication , in order for man to inherit the land. Still, I am told that the essence of life was to satisfy the ego of something they remotely refer to as a higher being or power. I am told the world will someday cease to be, after which all would face judgement. I am told that the death of a man ends his being, and that judgement is a figment of some bigot's imagination. I am also told man will continually reincarnate until he reaches a level of spiritual maturity. After which he would still face judgement.  How complex and confounding? But then, is judgement the essence of life?

What is your take on it? If this life is so confusing, is it worthy to believe in another? None has ever been to heaven and back, so none can tell from the benefit of experience what is beyond here. However, my childish mind believes that despite the seeming imperfections of life, it is worthy to live it to the best and be the best you can to yourself and all. Is there a need to prepare for after-life? I believe the answer is yes. So please prepare. As part of preparations for the eventualities of that eventuality they call hereafter, it is safer to believe in that higher power. Per chance there is nothing like heaven or paradise. Per chance there is. If you are not prepared and there is, you are doomed. And if there is not, you lose nothing by your preparedness. As for my puerile mind life is vain so I chose to believe in God, despite all the complexities, contradictions, and the confusions caused by the way of life. This life I believe is an entrance requirement for the life after tomorrow. I wish to qualify, so I would at all times be the best I can, like every hour is the last. The essence of my life I believe is to make heaven.

What about you?

Life Insurance Settlement- an Overview

Selling a life insurance policy by the policy owner to a life settlement company or a third party is referred to life insurance settlement. Life settlements are only beneficial if the selling amount offered for it is more than the policy's current cash surrender value. Life settlements are the best way to generate immediate liquid cash. The person who buys the policy becomes its new beneficiary and is liable to all subsequent premium payments.

Types of Life Insurance Settlement

Life settlement can be broadly classified under two heads:

  • Senior Settlements: This life settlement is specially meant for senior citizens, it helps them to liquidate life insurance that they do not require anymore. There are many life settlement companies that help the policy owner or life settlement agents with the entire life settlement process and make it easy for them to sell their policy at a fair price.

  • Viatical Settlements: This type of life settlement is meant for people who are facing some terminal illness or going through financial crises and want to cash in their policy to ease out their financial burden. There are many life settlement companies and life settlement brokers who can assist you with the Viatical Settlements and help you get a good price for your insurance policy.

Life Settlement Investments

Life settlement investments are becoming very popular due to their incredible benefits. There are many life settlement investors in the market who provide capital or financing for life settlement transactions. They provide the life settlement provider with adequate funds that are needed to acquire the policy.

Life Settlement Brokers

Life settlement brokers work as mediators between policy owners and life settlement providers. They help policy owners to find a buyer who is ready to offer a good price for their policy. They also negotiate the policy's settlement value on behalf of policy owners. It is advisable to go for an experienced life settlement broker to get the best price for your policy. One thing that you must ensure is that your life settlement broker should be licensed in your state i.e. the state where the policy owner is located. Many American states have guidelines related to selling of a life insurance policy to a third party.

Life Settlement Companies

There are many life settlement companies that help their clients get best possible cash offer for their life insurance policies. Most act as brokers but some also purchase life insurance policies themselves with their own investment funds. Like a broker, they help their clients with the entire settlement procedure and legal issues involved in the transaction and help them close quickly and get cash as fast as possible. One thing that you need to ensure when hiring a life settlement company is the credibility and authenticity of the company.

Essential Ingredients to Promote a Happier and More Successful Life!

By Cassie, Founder of www.happylifespace.com

Be kind to yourself....

Relationships full of love, respect and kindness are the ones that we cherish the most and make us the happiest, so why would you not develop that same type of relationship with yourself?

Go easy on yourself and try not to judge yourself too much. Make sure you engage in activities you love regularly, surround yourself with positive things and positive people who make you feel good, who respect you and who make you laugh. Re-think the relationships you have with those people around you who have a negative effect on you, who suck your energy and make you feel down.

Find the time and do at least one nice thing for yourself each day. Do something that makes you feel really good. Why not? you deserve it!

Be kind to others....

Think about a time when you have demonstrated an act of kindness toward another person. Can you remember how you felt afterwards? My bets are that you felt pretty good. Yes, I know, at times being kind to some people can be difficult! Especially when we are not feeling so good within ourselves. However, this is how I look at it. What you put out there, you will receive in return. It's true! Try it! It is not hard to smile at someone or say hello. When you smile you project positive energy. You may never know how powerful the impact of your smile can be on someone else's life. You have the potential to turn their whole day around – and yours! It is a win win situation.

Set goals that are meaningful to you....

Set goals for yourself and visualize them. Goals come in all sizes, levels and quantities. By setting a goal you are giving yourself something to look forward to. It can be a small as a goal to go to your favorite lunch spot today or as large as buying your own home one day. It can be a goal to run for an extra two minutes tomorrow, to read your favorite book on the weekend or to travel overseas by the end of the year. Relish and praise your goals when you achieve them, no matter how big or small they are. Reflect on your achievements regularly too. When you think of and visualize achieving your goals, embrace that great feeling you receive and remember it. Visit that feeling often, it will re-energize and re-motivate you.

It is important to set goals for yourself that are meaningful, are in line with your passions and values and the journey toward them is not going to cause unhappiness. Remember - the journey is just as important as the destination!

Believe in yourself....

Believing in yourself is very important. In fact, it is SO important. Why? Because if you want the life that you have dreamt of, believing in yourself is the first step. Never mind those people who doubt or criticize or the thoughts in your head that tell you that you can't do it - They will only get in the way. You have the power to take control of your life, it's yours! Make the decision to make the most out of it by getting whatever you want out of it! Once that belief is there, create a goal and a positive mind and develop strategies to put you on the journey to make it happen!

Maintain an open mind....

Maintain an open mind. Step out of your comfort zone every now and then. It's the place where we develop and grow. Challenge yourself on a regular basis. Try something new, whether it is a new food, a new activity, a new career. Learn something new. Never stop learning. You never know what you may find. Start saying yes to things rather than no. If you have a "not so good" experience with something new, then learn from it, turn it into a positive. You might as well. What good does negative thinking do, apart from making you unhappy? Make your life so rich with experience that you will look back when you are in your 90's and say "what a fabulous life I led!"

Avoid comparing yourself to others....

Everybody is different and you are your own person. Sure, a bit of competition is healthy. It is motivating and inspiring and makes us strive to be better. However, it is important to remember that everybody has different shapes, sizes, life experiences, levels of fitness, levels of intelligence and knowledge, different financial situations. I have never come across any one person who is exactly the same so why is it that we often compare ourselves to others? Chances are if you are feeling a bit down, you are likely to be looking at other people and how much "better" their lives are than yours. Don't do it! Ask yourself what it is achieving? Live to be the best YOU can be – that is all that matters.

Send those negative thoughts packing....

Your mind is a very powerful thing. Negative thoughts are toxic and do not achieve much. Sure, they are a natural part of thought processes and at times they can be justified and constructive; however, it is important that we do not dwell on them for too long. Acknowledge them, take what you need from them and allow them to leave.

You have the ability to channel your negative thoughts in whatever way you want. Train your mind to think more positive in situations, no matter how bad they may seem. More often than not it is easier to think negatively about something or a situation, rather than learning from it in a positive way. Train your mind to think about the positives in your life, express gratuity regularly and appreciate the good things that you have. Develop a positive philosophy for life and live by it. Negative thinking produces negative energy. Negative energy attracts negative things. It is a vicious cycle; however, it is a cycle that you have the power to change, for the better.

Stay active, eat well and meditate....

Exercise is so important and a necessity to every day life. It has so many wonderful benefits. It keeps you fit and healthy, it clears your mind, reduces stress and stimulates your endorphins - those little biochemical compounds that produce feelings of well-being! Frequent exercise not only assists you to feel good, but the physical benefits allow you to look good too!

Eat well! Think of your body as your car and food as your fuel. Food makes our bodies run. You would not put bad fuel in your car because then it would not run so well, so why would you put bad fuel in your body? A diet rich with vegetables, fruit, good fats and protein is ideal. Try and cut out processed and sugary foods where possible; however, keep in mind that small indulgences every now and then are also good for you, but the key word is, now and then!

Try meditating too. I used to think of meditating as being a little bit "hippy-ish" until I was introduced to it - now I can't get enough. You can do it anywhere. You don't have to find a quiet room (although it is recommended). Meditate when you are out exercising, when you are alone at work – even if it is just 5 minutes. Meditating not only clears the mind and relives tension and stress but it increases energy and enlarges your energy body/aura. The bigger your energy body, the more likely you are to attract more positive things in your life.

Meditating is easy. Concentrate on deep breathing. Breath through the nose, fill up the stomach and release your breath through your nose or mouth. Repeat this for as long as you feel is necessary. Whilst breathing, close your eyes and recall times when you felt happy, joy, elation or fulfilment, re-experience how you felt at that time.

Start your day with a positive thought and an open heart....

Start each day with a positive thought. As soon as you wake up, look in the mirror smile at yourself and say your favourite inspirational quote or affirmation. It could be as simple as "today is going to be a good day". What this does is creates positive energy, opens your heart and gets you ready for a positive day.
